Has has also served as a Research Analyst at McKinsey & Company, where he honed his skills in strategic execution and research.

Mvelo is a commercial strategist and venture builder with a background spanning top-tier management consulting, sustainability strategy, and early-stage venture commercialisation. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Honours in Business Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Risk Management, both from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Professional Background
Mvelo's commercial grounding was built over nearly three years at Oliver Wyman, progressing from Analyst to Senior Consultant across strategy, operating model design, and sustainability-linked engagements for banks, development finance institutions, and government clients across Africa and the Middle East. He has since led product and partnerships at an early-stage startup, founded a physical commodities trading venture, and now leads commercial strategy at Greenovations across the Group's portfolio of sustainability-focused businesses.
